Dengue claims two more lives in Lahore, death toll rises to 44 LAHORE: Two more people died on Monday from the Dengue virus as the overall death toll climbed to 44 in the city, Geo News reported.

21 year old Ali Raza a resident of Jhang died at the Jinnah hospital while Inayat a resident of Narowal passed away at the Mayo hospital.

Meanwhile the provincial health department appealed that only one person should come with a sick patient to the hospital because this excessive people were hindering treatment.

According to the health department, medical experts from Sri Lanka advised that people should only come to the hospital if their fever does not subside in three days.

Spokesperson for the Punjab government said that 500,000 anti-Dengue kits were distributed in Lahore which included a brochure, spray pump and lotion.
